The waters off Puerto Aventuras have plenty of fish life to explore among the coral. You can take a short drive and try some spectacular cavern diving in the world's largest cavern system. The caverns are called cenotes and are fresh water with excellent visibility. See the stalagmites ( the outgrowth growing up ) and stalactites ( the outgrowth hanging down ) formed from limestone. You can fish the waters off Puerto Aventuras all year round. Catch barracuda, black fin tuna, and bonito all year long. For January, February, March, September, October, November and December add snapper, grouper, amberjack and black fin tuna. You'll find snapper and grouper in August and dorado March to July. Sailfish are here January to August and white marlin April to August.

21 - Jeep Safari Sian Ka’an

Sian Ka’an is a UNESCO World Heritage Site located south of Tulum. This large biosphere is home to hundreds of wild species, several of which are nearing extinction. You can come and see them in their natural habitat. Drive your Jeep along the coast to Punta Allen where you will rest and have a snack and soft drinks. Then on to a boat to travel the Black Lagoon and out into the ocean to see many species of birds and fish plus search for turtles and dolphins.
